A Proxxon 28050 router table converts a hand held drill grinder such as Proxxon 28481, 28462, 28472 or 28510 into a stationary machine, commonly known as a spindle or shaper. Such a device then enables the making of small wooden extrusions used in miniature furniture, houses, picture frames, model boats and the like. The Proxxon table is especially versatile as the cutter can be raised and lowered and also tilted. This means a single cutter can be manipulated to yield numerous shapes. The in and outfeed fences are independently adjustable and this is essential when the machined extrusion is smaller than the blank. A mitre gauge forms part of the package.

Proxxon produce 10 HSS router cutters, available as sets (29020) or individually. Numerous other mini cutters in  HSS, tungsten vanadium and similar materials are also available. These include 28710, 28725, 28720, etc.
